The Fjords Team

The Fjords Team is the small independent publisher of Pawholt. We don't pretend to be world-leading experts, and we don't hide how we work: our guides are drafted with AI from published sources and checked against them. We research each topic from published sources, write in plain language, and we're upfront when something is a judgment call or when you should really ask a professional - your vet first of all.

On Pawholt, that's our pet desk - practical, gentle care, and an honest 'ask your vet' whenever it actually matters.

How we work

• We start from sources, and we use AI. Guides are drafted with AI from published references, and the facts are checked against the sources we cite. See how we use AI.
• We don't claim tests we haven't run. Our guides are desk research: comparisons rest on published specifications, prices and sources, not on a lab of our own.
• We write plainly. No padding, no hype, no twelve paragraphs before the answer. We lead with what you came for.
• We defer to the pros. For anything that touches health, safety or the law, we say so plainly and point you to a vet, a local expert, or the official rules. We're a starting point, not the last word.

The name is a nod to the clean, unhurried north - roughly how we like our advice: clear, practical, and free of noise.
